Pet Photography is rewarding

Pet photography can be one of the most difficult and rewarding past times for a beginner and  even professional photographer.  I often find that at the best moments are organic where the animal doesn't realize you have your camera. Many of my shot here were actually very difficult to get as in the one where my American Cocker Spaniel is on the bed. A few seconds after the photograph was taken she put her nose on my lens. All I can really advise is just have it near you and wait until you pet is distracted, Grab their attention or leave them alone and shoot. Sorry that's all for now...

Dog is an

Herps are Eublepharis Macularius

Vallejo City has security instead of police.

Photographers on mare Island, CA ,  Know that if you are being harassed by a security guard and you feel your life is in danger, chances are CHP or the California Highway Patrol which receives the calls may not help you. As a citizen you may have to defend yourself with lethal force, I almost had too!!!!. I was told by the CHP since it was late at night their was nothing the agency basically would do because they believed the  security guard had warrant for his behavior, I was harassed for about 45 more minutes until my ride showed up.

NOTE This security guard did harass me he passed me on the side of the road where I believe I saw a firearm, circled around my location, Parked in-front and behind me and did numerous drive byes. He drives a Toyota Tacoma pickup with security written all over it and a Jet-Stream mini bar on the roof by the way the truck is white except for writing and company decals, They also have a Toyota Yaris to my knowledge.

This whole encounter happened on public land by the way,
KNOW YOU RIGHTS, PUBLIC LAND IS PUBLIC!!
